The Audrey Cohen School for Human Services seeks adjunct lecturers who are experienced in teaching the NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling Certificate (CASAC) curriculum. The candidate must demonstrate competency in employing effective teaching methods that will allow students to master the course objectives. The Faculty at Metropolitan College of New York is committed to excellence and is expected to enhance classroom learning with real-world practice.

Requirements: Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field, and CASAC certification; a minimum of five years clinical experience in the field of substance abuse; a minimum of three years teaching experience in higher education; and experience teaching diverse populations. In order to enhance the classroom learning experience, candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Office and have working knowledge of Blackboard or similar technology.
