English Language Training and Preparation

Language Studies International has been providing superior quality language training for over 40 years and now has eighteen centers in a dozen countries. Here in New York, LSI is proud to be partnered with Metropolitan College of New York and to support international students who wish to improve their English skills in order to be accepted into college or university programs.

  • Through the official pathway agreement between LSI and MCNY, students who complete the advanced curriculum at LSI can go directly into MCNY's courses without further language training or testing
  • LSI students at the Post-Intermediate level can enroll in courses at MCNY and earn up to 6 credits in an undergraduate program

LSI New York also offers a TOEFL Preparation course, which develops the language awareness and test strategies students need in order to achieve the highest possible score on that test.
