Metropolitan College of New York is keenly aware that tuition and other related educational costs are a primary consideration in making a decision to pursue your degree and selecting which program you'll choose to attend.

At MCNY, we believe that you should choose the college that best fulfills your educational and life goals. To this end, we’ve developed a wide variety of financial aid programs and financing options to help students find a way to finance their MCNY education. These include:

• Financial aid in the form of loans, grants and scholarships
• Payment options
• One of the lowest tuition rates for a private school in the area
• A "tuition freeze program" to protect students from tuition increases

The benefits of a college and/or an advanced degree are clear and documented: People who make the investment of time and money to pursue higher education, on average, earn substantially higher salaries and are significantly less likely to be laid off, than people with less education.

Higher education is probably the most secure high-return investment you could make. And it provides a payoff that will last a lifetime.

This investment in your future requires discipline, focus and your time. The other component is financial…

• How much will pursuing the degree that you want cost?
  • When you consider the cost of your education, you will want to include both:
    • Direct costs: tuition, fees, books, materials
    • Indirect costs: transportation, personal expenses, and possibly room and board
• How will you meet these expenses?
  • Families contribute to the cost of higher education to the extent they are able as determined by government guidelines. If they are unable to contribute the entire amount, financial aid, from a variety of sources, is available to help cover the cost of education.
